Special Fifth Year Anniversary Celebration Saving and sharing history is what the Historical Society’s Mission is all about. But we celebrate history too so that it does not appear bleak and boring, but pleasant and enjoyable. We celebrated our 5th year anniversary by hosting a special “Lifetime Contributions Awards” program. The program included dinner and music and was be held at the Omni at Yale in New Haven. Awards were given to outstanding people who have contributed to society in a significant way. The Society has, for the past five years, had the privilege of doing its part in highlighting contributors at our Awards event. The special guest and honoree, Tony Award winner, Ben Vereen. |
